About Neo

AI is the most significant shift in how work gets done since the advent of the Internet — yet most organizations fail to capture its value. Neo is changing that.

Founded by Bhavin Turakhia — Co-Founder of Zeta, Radix, and Titan — Neo is building an integrated, AI-first suite of products that capture work, centralize context, and make AI a first-class participant in every workflow:

  • Tasket — A radically reimagined, AI-native work management platform that centralizes context and makes AI delegation seamless for all work.

  • Friday — AI Assistant, co-worker and agent platform, pre-integrated into Tasket, Studio, Drive and 1000+ SaaS platforms.

  • Studio — AI-native suite for co-creating docs, spreadsheets and diagrams collaboratively with humans and agents.

  • Drive — AI-native repository, where humans and agents can co-work on files.

  • Scribe — AI assistant for meetings that goes beyond note-taking and actually does your work while on the call.

About the Role

We want someone whose job is understanding user problems and pain points.

You are someone who loves spending time with users, understanding how they work, where they get stuck, what they love, what they quietly hate, and what they would never think to tell us unless you asked the right follow-up. You will turn those conversations into insights that shape the product strategy.

This is a hands-on, conversation-first role. It is not an analytics job — you won't be buried in spreadsheets or asked to run heavy quantitative studies. It's about human curiosity, good questions, and a knack for getting people to open up.

Job Location: Bangalore, India (100% on-site)

Responsibilities

  • Majority of your time will be spent in planning and running qualitative research, user interviews and usability testing

  • Recruit and screen research participants

  • Ask the sharp follow-up: dig past the first answer, cross-question gently, and surface the real problem behind what someone says

  • Synthesize conversations into clear notes, themes, and takeaways the product team can act on

  • Spot patterns across users and flag them early — recurring pain points, unmet needs, moments of delight

  • Partner closely with product, design, and engineering to make sure user voice reaches the people building

  • Help build and maintain a lightweight, repeatable way of gathering and organizing feedback so insights compound over time instead of getting relearned

  • Continuously push on research methodology as our products evolve

Skills

  • A real ability to hold a conversation and steer it: you're comfortable probing, asking "why," and following a thread instead of ticking through a script

  • Insight synthesis: you can distill a messy 45-minute conversation into clear insights the team needs to know

  • Working understanding of project management tools

  • Strong spreadsheet skills, comfortable consolidating data from multiple sources and turning it into clear, structured reports

  • Hands-on use of AI

  • Genuine curiosity about people and how they think

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and moving quickly

Experience and Qualifications

  • Around a year of experience in a role involving talking to or understanding users — user research, product/business analysis, design, Technical Support, Quality Assurance (QA) or similar. Strong internship experience counts.

  • Exposure to product development or working alongside a product team

  • A background in either computer science, design, psychology, or anything that trained you to observe people closely

Equal Opportunity
